The 29th Annual Cold Comfort conference and exhibition returns to Harrogate on 13th to 14th May Cold Comfort has been at the heart of the UK winter service sector for over 25 years and remains the only conference in the UK focused on delivering insight and best practice in the winter service sector. I found Cold Comfort Farm to be a charming tale of early 20th century rural English life. Filled with caricatures, this story nevertheless managed to make me care how the major characters fared. Probably the biggest flaw is that it lacks dramatic tension. The book is silly in the kind of way that lets you know all is going to end well/5(4).
